Marinate the chicken in curd,ginger garlic paste ,salt and other spices for 1 hour
Heat 1 1/2 tbsp oil in a pressure cooker
Add chopped onions and green cardamom
Saute onions till golden brown
Add cashew,almonds and melon seeds and switch off the gas
Cool it a little then grind it in a mixer with 1/4 cup curd
Add remaining ghee in same cooker and add all whole spices
Add the marinated chicken and saute it
Add the onion and curd mixture and mix well
Add salt and other dry spices
Saute the chicken for 5-10 mins
Add water to make required gravy
Cook till chicken gets soft
Serve hot with rice or roti
