Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 500 gms chicken


  • 3 tbsp curd


  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder


  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder


  • 2 tbsp ghee


  • 2 nos green cardamoms


  • 3 nos big onions


  • 5-6 nos cashewnuts


  • 5-6 nos almonds


  • 1 tsp melon seeds


  • 1/4 tsp curd


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • turmeric powder 1 tsp


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Marinate the chicken in curd,ginger garlic paste ,salt and other spices for 1 hour
  • Heat 1 1/2 tbsp oil in a pressure cooker
  • Add chopped onions and green cardamom
  • Saute onions till golden brown
  • Add cashew,almonds and melon seeds and switch off the gas
  • Cool it a little then grind it in a mixer with 1/4 cup curd
  • Add remaining ghee in same cooker and add all whole spices
  • Add the marinated chicken and saute it
  • Add the onion and curd mixture and mix well
  • Add salt and other dry spices
  • Saute the chicken for 5-10 mins
  • Add water to make required gravy
  • Cook till chicken gets soft
  • Serve hot with rice or roti
